I am an Assistant Professor of Teaching in Political Science at the
University of California, Riverside, as of July 2017.
I have a PhD in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh.

I look at the impact of decentralization and interactive governance on income
inequality in advanced economies in my dissertation. I have conducted fieldwork in Spain, Germany, Sweden, France, Belgium, Croatia, Macedonia and Turkey.
​
My research cuts across the literatures of governance, federalism and comparative political economy. In addition to my main area of research, I am also interested in researching and teaching European politics, comparative politics, international organizations and foreign policy.
​
My research has been published or forthcoming in the journals of Comparative Political Studies, Electoral Studies, European Policy Analysis, Turkish Studies, and Regional Studies, Regional Science. Currently, I am working on a book manuscript on decentralization, interactive governance and inequality.
