Welcome to my website!

I am an Assistant Professor of Teaching in Political Science at the

University of California, Riverside, as of July 2017.

I have a PhD in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh.

I look at the impact of decentralization and interactive governance on income

inequality in advanced economies in my dissertation. I have conducted fieldwork in Spain, Germany, Sweden, France, Belgium, Croatia, Macedonia and Turkey.

My research cuts across the literatures of governance, federalism and comparative political economy. In addition to my main area of research, I am also interested in researching and teaching European politics, comparative politics, international organizations and foreign policy.

My research has been published or forthcoming in the journals of Comparative Political Studies, Electoral Studies, European Policy Analysis, Turkish Studies, and Regional Studies, Regional Science. Currently, I am working on a book manuscript on decentralization, interactive governance and inequality.
